11th Baltic Congress of Laboratory Medicine

UAB Diagnostinès Sistemos, distributor of Stago in Lituania and Estonia was a sponsor of this congress.

This distributor took this opportunity to organise a Symposium on:

• clinical aspects and diagnosis of Heparin Induced Thrombosis (HIT)
• patients management thanks to new STic Expert^® HIT.

In addition, Stago participated to plenary sessions of this congress with 3 communications:

• one in the interest in measuring the Anti-Xa activity compated to APTT in the monitoring of Heparin therapies
• one on the role played by the laboratory in monitoring of patients receiving new anticoagulants therapies
• one on the diagnosis in vitro industry part in the accreditation of laboratories

This congress was co-organised by:

• Lithuanian Society of Laboratory Medicine,
• Lithuanian Society of Human Genetics,
• Université de Vilnius,
• Baltic Association of Laboratory Medicine,
• Estonian Society of Laboratory Medicine
• Latvian Society of Laboratory Specialists,

under the auspices of the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry. This event gathered more that 500 participants from Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia.
